The Weymouth Garden Club plants hundreds of daffodil bulbs each fall in various town locations bringing color and joy to our community in the Spring.
The Weymouth Garden Club has maintained the Abigail Adams Village Green for many years. We hold spring and fall clean ups. Plant the trough with seasonal plantings and recently installed an Herb garden in honor of the 400 anniversary of Weymouth.
Each year we donate money raised at the annual plant sale for scholarships to encourage education in the Environmental and Horticultural fields.
Garden Club members create lovely floral arrangements every month for the Tufts library. Flowers often come from members gardens. Stop by the Library to see them.
Garden Club members donate toys and gifts to the Weymouth Youth and Family Services each holiday season as well as donating to the Weymouth Food Pantry.
Our annual Plant Sale raises funds for the Weymouth Scholarship Fund and continuing education programs. We inform the public of native plants, invasive species, and general planting knowledge. Plants come from member gardens or are grown from seed by members.
Members use their creative talents to make beautiful and unique wreaths, swags and holiday greens for sale. Proceeds from the sale help with the purchase of daffodils that are planted around Weymouth every year.
